DayOf Photo LLC, an Arkansas limited liability company ("DayOf Photo," "we") makes software that photography businesses ("studios") use to take orders, manage picture day and deliver photos. This policy covers two kinds of information.
When a studio signs up and uses DayOf Photo we collect the owner's and staff members' names, email addresses, phone numbers and logins; the business's name, address and, for text-message registration, its legal details (such as its tax ID, which is stored encrypted); billing details handled by Stripe (we keep only references, never full card numbers); and records of sign-ins and changes, for security. We use this to run the studio's account, bill the plan, register texting, provide support and keep the service secure. We send studios emails about their account and the service.
Each studio's customers, orders, rosters and photos belong to that studio. We store and process them only on the studio's behalf, to run its order site and tools; the studio's own privacy policy, shown on its order site, explains how it uses them. We don't sell this information, don't use it for advertising, and don't contact a studio's customers for our own purposes. Text-message opt-in data is never shared with anyone except the providers that deliver the messages.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect someone's safety, or as part of a sale of our business.
Connections are encrypted; each studio has its own separate database; stored secrets such as payment and texting keys are encrypted; photos are in private storage and download links expire; the owner console requires a password and a two-step code.
We keep a studio's information while its account exists. When a studio asks us to delete its account, we delete its database, logins and stored photos. Billing records are kept as tax law requires.
Studios can see and change their information in the staff app, or ask us at [email protected]. A studio's customer who wants their information seen, corrected or deleted should contact that studio; we will help the studio do it.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top, and tell studios by email for material changes.
